Fame Hungry: Celebrity Sightings in London Restaurants This Week

Made in Chelsea, Strictly Come Dancing, and Aldo Zilli — the celebs making waves in the capital’s restaurant scene

Isabel on Albermale Street had a busy Monday night. While its head honchos were at The Savoy celebrating their Tatler Restaurant Award for Best Vibe, those back in Mayfair were doing their best to prove its merit. The kitchen cooked up a storm for Quality Street heiress Millie Mackintosh and presenters Lilah Parsons and Pips Taylor. It was all in aid of INC.redible, a new line from Nails.Inc founder Thea Green.

On Tuesday, model Lottie Moss and Made in Chelsea regular Mimi Bouchard had lunch al fresco at Granger & Co's Notting Hill branch. Offering fresh and tasty Australian cuisine, Mimi had the particularly good raw tuna salad. David Beckham, Lily Allen and Tamara Ecclestone are also regulars.

In Covent Garden, Strictly Come Dancing's new judge Shirley Ballas dined at Cantina Laredo, the Mexican restaurant in Seven Dials. The venue offers the usual staples of tequila cocktails, with guacamole, ceviche and tostadas on the menu. Posing for a snapper on departure, Ballas put one finger in the air: a Night Fever-style pose rather than a score out of ten.

Had a great time at dinner with Micheal. Thank you. X

Welcome back to 40 Dean Street, the charming Italian in Soho which reopened on Wednesday evening following a refurb. Festivities spilled into the street, with 'Allo 'Allo actress Vicki Michelle bidding Bon Retour to the cheap and cheerful local favourite. Chef Aldo Zilli and pin-up of yesteryear Linda Lusardi were also spotted.

A Wednesday night feast at Loulou's on Mayfair's Hertford Street, with a supper hosted by style site Who What Wear. Lady Violet Manners welcomed a well-dressed set - model Amber Le Bon, actress Olivia Grant and chef Tess Ward among them - who dined on at autumnal menu of roasted cod, mushroom risotto and chicken milanese. Washed down with plenty of champagne, naturally.
