The popular west London gastropub group Cubitt House have announced that they will open a fifth site in London next month. The Coach Makers Arms — a three-floor space, with two bars, including one in the basement — will open at 88 Marylebone Lane.
“Cubitt House are delighted to announce the opening of our fifth venue, in your neighbourhood this coming December 2017,” the company writes on its holding website. The pub has been closed since 18 September has been renovated and refurbished following the group’s acquisition of the site. It is the group’s first opening since 2010.
Executive chef Leigh Hartnett and team have “created an all-day menu with an emphasis on daily specials.” They won’t deviate from the template set across the group’s portfolio — at the Thomas Cubbit, the Orange and the Alfred Tennyson (all in Belgravia) and the Grazing Goat in Marylebone, “serving seasonal food, prepared using the finest, sustainable ingredients alongside our eclectic wine list, cocktails. The Coach Makers Arms will be no exception with a wider selection of beers both in bottle and on draft.”
