The owners of the The 10 Cases restaurant and wine bar are set to open a new restaurant in Covent Garden in October, directly opposite their current operation.
Ian Campbell and Will Palmer opened The 10 Cases in 2011 and have revealed to Eater that their new site will be called Parsons — a “classic fish restaurant bar with a classic London fish restaurant feel to it.”
The menu will include two ‘catches of the day’, alongside a host of staples such as squid, clams, oysters, sardines, salt-baked seabass and turbot. As such the wine list will lean heavily towards whites.

There will also be standing space for anyone “wanting to pop in for a glass of Vinho Verde, a sardine and a plate of anchovies, then move on with their evening,” Campbell told Eater. “The aim is to create a relaxed, European style venue, which can be the setting for the night, or as a quick drop-in for a glass of wine, an oyster or two and be out for a tenner.”
The name Parsons refers to both Ian and Will’s mother’s sharing the same maiden name.
Campbell and Palmer are also behind the Drop Wine app — a wine delivery service that features a daily-changing special offer bottle.
