The pop-up mall brand Boxpark, who only this week announced the opening of their third site — slated for 2018 — in Wembley Park, look to have designs on a fourth site in Walthamstow, a burgeoning food neighbourhood in north east London.
The brand have set up a Twitter handle “Boxpark Walthamstow,” which appears to be authentic and at the time of writing has 590 followers, including Walthamstow’s Labour MP, Stella Creasy. “Boxpark is coming to Walthamstow! Watch this space…” reads the account’s bio.
Given that the Wembley Park site is not scheduled to open until next year, it is thought the site, which will contain a number of new food outlets and retail units, will launch later in 2018.
And, although no timeline or location has been specified, Eater London understands that the mall will open near St. James Street Station, on the south west side of Walthamstow: specifically, the area between South Grove and Cranbrook Mews, above, though this is unconfirmed.
Walthamstow would be the brand’s fourth site, adding to locations in Shoreditch, Croydon and Wembley Park.
