It has been confirmed to Eater that Kiazim is opening a second restaurant and though confirmation of the particulars has not been forthcoming, this is what is known:
- The restaurant has begun advertising for staff via the industry app CODE Hospitality.
- It is thought to be opening in Fitzrovia, with a site mooted to have been found on Warren Street.
- A representative told Eater that it will be called Oklava.
- It will open in the late spring or early summer.
The advertisement for roles at the new restaurant went out on Monday, stating: “Selin Kiazim (one winner of Great British Menu 2017) is looking for senior chefs for both Oklava and a new opening Spring 2018. Oklava is a modern Turkish restaurant which opened to critical acclaim in 2015, the new opening will continue the contemporary Turkish theme with Mediterranean influence.
