Hideaway, from chef Ollie Dabbous’ newly Michelin-starred restaurant Hide, will pop up at the Burlington Arcade on Piccadilly over Christmas, as reported by Hot Dinners.

Dabbous’ newest restaurant, in partnership with Hedonism Wines, will operate the pop-up as a bistro and shopping experience, designed to capture the attention of shoppers with the money to spare on neighbouring brands like Vilbrequin, Rolex, Mulberry and Chanel. Food will be suitably luxe: whipped chicken parfait, briny oysters and champagne; with coffees and croissants for the more grounded.

The retail arm looks set to focus on Hide’s “seasonal homemade preserves”; the jams and chutneys that accessorise the “Ground” floor restaurant’s pastries every morning. Hedonism’s owners Evgeny Chichvarkin and Tatiana Fokina — partners in both Hide and Hideaway — will use the Burlington Arcade unit to retail wines from its vast cellar.

One designed squarely for the epicurean Christmas shopper.

Hideaway will open 19 November and run until February.
