Brat, the new Redchurch Street restaurant from ex-Kitty Fisher’s Tomos Parry, had its soft launch last week and is already attracting attention. Henry Holland, the fashion designer and owner of the biggest quiff in London, ate there twice, on consecutive nights, last week. Expect to see more of the fashion crowd there soon. Holland says he identifies with the name:
The Ecclestones have a bit of a thorn in their side of late: Petra’s ex-husband James Stunt was recently rather cruel about the F1 motoring clan in a magazine article. But feuding can work up an appetite, and on Saturday Stunt went out for dinner at C Mayfair, the Italian on Davies Street formerly known as Cipriani but forced to change its name after a legal battle. He ate with Hollyoaks actress Samantha Rowley.
Jason Orange, the former Take That singer who exited the long-running boyband back in 2014, popped out to the recently opened Kensington branch of Dishoom on Monday. He grabbed lunch at the popular Indian chain, located on Derry Street.
There’s not always time to sit in, you know, especially when you’re a famous actor. Clive Owen, star of Closer and Children of Men, got a little peckish in Hampstead on Tuesday afternoon. He queued for a snack at La Creperie du Hampstead — which may or may not translate into The Creperie of Hampstead — and is one of the North London area’s favourite speedy takeaway destination.
A bit of a more relaxed meal for Jenna Coleman. The actress, who plays the eponymous queen in Victoria and previously starred in Doctor Who, spent Tuesday night at 34 in Mayfair. She dined and drank with a few friends although her boyfriend Tom Hughes, who plays Prince Albert in the programme, must have dined elsewhere.

Lawrence Dallaglio, the former captain of the English rugby team and a recent inductee of the World Rugby Hall of Fame, ate at Boisdale Canary Wharf on Wednesday lunchtime. The restaurant, which has outposts in Belgravia and Victoria, boasts an impressive oyster bar and smoking terrace.
Candice Brown, who won the Great British Bake Off but fared less well on the latest series of Celebrity Ice Dancing, had lunch at Elystan Street in Chelsea, the European restaurant from Phil Howard and Rebecca Mascarenhas.
A very stylish dinner at Mark’s Club, which seems to have become Vogue editor Edward Enninful’s favourite place to eat. He and his friend Kate Moss settled in for the evening on Thursday, hosting a big, boozy dinner with guests including Sadie Frost, Erin O’Connor and DJ Fat Tony who, to be honest, isn’t fat.
