Celebrity chef, author and restaurateur Yotam Ottolenghi is the biggest name among many to be announced for Wilderness festival, in Cornbury Park, Oxfordshire this August. Although the event started as (and continues to be) a music festival, it has always placed great emphasis on the provision of restaurant-quality food, booking nearly as many chefs as performing artists. Never before though have quite so many of London’s (best) restaurants decamped.

Here’s a run-down of all the (mostly male) London chefs who will be cooking over the long weekend of Thursday 2 — Sunday 5 August.

At the bookable “Long Table” banquets and feasts:

At the on site pop-up restaurants:

  • Angela Hartnett’s Cafe Murano — casual Italian from Covent Garden and St. James’s, the spin-off brand from Hartnett’s Michelin-starred Murano in Mayfair
  • Petersham Nurseries, the Richmond-based garden centre cafe and now Covent Garden restaurant
  • Berber & Q middle-eastern grill restaurant
  • Patty & Bun burgers
  • Homeslice pizza

At “The Chef’s Table”:

  • Tim Spedding, ex-Clove Club and P. Franco and now head chef at Coombeshead Farm
  • James Lowe, head chef at Lyle’s

At “The Counter”:

  • Som Saa, Andy Oliver and Mark Dobie’s Shoreditch Thai restaurant
  • Quality Chop House, the British restaurant led by head chef Shaun Searley
  • Salon, the modern European Brixton restaurant by chef Nicholas Balfe

In “The Dining Room”:

  • MAM, Vietnamese barbecue from Notting Hill
  • Bao, cult Taiwanese steamed buns
  • The Good Egg, New York and Middle Eastern-influenced all-day breakfast spot from Stoke Newington
  • Smokestak, American barbecue
  • Breddos, tacos
