Victoria Beckham has had a busy few days as false rumours of romantic troubles swirled online. But once that was out of the way, she had time for supper. She was at Scott’s on Monday evening. Beckham, former Spice Girl and now a fashion luminary, recently redesigned the Mayfair restaurant’s terrace.
Neptune, the new restaurant in Bloomsbury from Margaret Crow, opened its doors for a GQ Fashion Week bash on Monday night. Singer Tom Odell, rapper Tinie Tempah and iconic American fashion designer Tommy Hilfiger were among the guests sipping on Belvedere espresso martinis and nibbled on crushed peas, mint and sheep feta.
It’s been a big week for Brexit as parliament met to hammer out conditions and debate amendments on Tuesday. Former Prime Minister David Cameron, having excused himself from government after the referendum result, didn’t have to worry about it. He instead went for breakfast at The Ivy Kensington, where he was seen catching up with Michael Fallon, former defence secretary.
Later that day, Cameron’s former rival Ed Miliband — ex Labour leader — was at Cucina, the Lambeth restaurant a short walk from Westminster. Cucina offers Italian classics with a bit of British fare mixed in (no bacon sandwiches, though).
Also on Tuesday, Notting Hill actor Rhys Ifans was spotted enjoying a late dinner at The Dean Street Townhouse, the restaurant in a townhouse on Dean Street which does a particularly hearty minced beef and potatoes.
Dame Joan Collins took tea at The Wolseley on Monday afternoon. Her drinking companion? Edward Enninful, editor of Vogue. Dame Joan, star of Dynasty, has contributed more to fashion than just shoulder-pads: she’s model Cara Delevingne’s godmother.
Another night on the stage for Orlando Bloom, currently starring in Killer Joe in the West End. After he took his bow, he walked up to J Sheekey for dinner. The seafood restaurant is a favourite of the post-theatre celebrity crowd. Bloom did not bring his girlfriend Katy Perry, but he did bring his dog.
Good Morning Britain host Eamonn Holmes, X Factor “rapper” Honey G and Strictly Come Dancing’s Nancy Dell’Olio were at Caramel, the restaurant and lounge on Brompton Road. They were toasting the birthday of their pal Lizzie Cundy.
