EATER TALKS: THE IMPORTANCE OF DIVERSITY

7pm — TUESDAY 21 AUGUST 2018

This event is currently full, but a waiting list is available.

Eater London and Ace Hotel London’s second panel discussion will seek to answer questions surrounding the issue of diversity in the restaurant industry. Panelists, including the identity theorist Anna Sulan Masing, psychologist Kimberley Wilson, writer Jonathan Nunn, and chefs Asma Khan, of Darjeeling Express and Andy Oliver of Som Saa, will be asked what more can be done to support minorities? Who or what is to blame for a lack of representation? Are things changing? Why did it take the ‘Boring Thai’ story to bring this conversation to the industry at large? And how can we all make sure we do more to avoid exclusion?

Entry: Free with RSVP — The Rooftop, Ace Hotel, Shoreditch.

Join the waiting list here.

Eater London and Ace Hotel hope to see you there; stay tuned for further announcements regarding upcoming Eater Talks.
