EATER TALKS: MONEY MAKES THE (RESTAURANT) WORLD GO ROUND
7pm — WEDNESDAY 18 JULY 2018
Eater London is delighted to announce a new monthly live event series. Money — and the business of restaurants — is the subject of the inaugural panel discussion at Ace Hotel in Shoreditch: How much does it actually cost to open a restaurant right now? To sustain it? Why are so many restaurants closing? and How much money is there in the restaurant business? We’ll aim to answer those questions and more in a frank conversation with our three brilliant guests — Laura Harper-Hinton, co-founder of Antipodean cafe and restaurant chain Caravan; Johnny Smith, co-owner of crowdfunded (and now Michelin-starred) restaurant The Clove Club, and Mandy Yin, owner of the recently opened independent Malaysian smash-hit, Sambal Shiok, on Holloway Road.
Entry: Free with RSVP — The Rooftop, Ace Hotel, Shoreditch.
We hope to see you there and stay tuned for further announcements regarding upcoming Eater Talks.
