Actor Orlando Bloom returned to Marylebone’s Chiltern Firehouse again on Tuesday. He has eaten there a couple of times in the past few months despite the fact that that a waitress was dismissed from her job at the restaurant for “fraternising” with him, as widely reported in the tabloid media.
He seemed to be in a good mood, perhaps buoyed by a reunion the night before with Sir Ian McKellen and Adam Brown, who he starred with in The Hobbit and Lord of the Rings.
Caroline Flack, the Strictly Come Dancing winner and host of Love Island, appears to have reunited with her ex-boyfriend Andrew Brady, an ex-Apprentice contestant. The pair were spotted on a romantic date at Pizza East in Shoreditch on Saturday, and then again on Monday, where they dined at the Market Cafe on Broadway Market.
Stormzy, the rapper and now founder of a new scholarship for black Cambridge undergraduates, was a doting boyfriend this week. His girlfriend, TV presenter Maya Jama, celebrated her 24th birthday and Stormzy showered her with gifts. They also went for a meal on Tuesday night at Bagatelle, the French restaurant which opened on Dover Street last year.
Fergie - aka Sarah Ferguson the Duchess of York, can usually be found at 5 Hertford Street. But she was at a rival members’ club for dinner on Tuesday. She went for a bite at Annabel’s on Berkeley Square. She may be too busy to eat out in the coming weeks: her daughter, Princess Eugenie, is getting married next month.
Samira Mighty, one of the fan favourites from the most recent series of Love Island, is doing the usual post-show circuit of film premieres and media appearances. But she took a little break from the rat race on Wednesday evening: she enjoyed a bite at 100 Wardour Street, the Soho restaurant and bar.
Mighty has recently split with Frankie Foster, who she met on the programme. He was looking a little forlorn on Monday, where he had dinner at Kurobuta on Kendal Street with fellow Love Island male Charlie Brake.
The only way is... Mayfair. Megan McKenna, star of The Only Way Is Essex and now an aspiring singer, had dinner at Nobu on Berkeley Street on Tuesday night. Having recently returned from a trip to Ibiza, she stayed in the party spirit by going from dinner to drinks and dancing at the nearby Novikov, an Italian-Asian restaurant and club up the street.
