The Dead Rabbit will return to London for a second Bethnal Green residency at The Sun Tavern. The celebrated New York cocktail bar and taproom will land for one night only Tuesday 2 October, bringing its famous Irish Coffee and other cocktails back to London.

Founded by Jack McGarry and Sean Muldoon, The Dead Rabbit opened in New York’s financial district in 2013, and has a held down a top five spot on “The World’s Best Bars” ever since. The bar recently planned to double in size to accommodate demand, before a serious fire in July put those plans on hold and shuttered the bar for just over two weeks; the extension will now be completed Spring 2019.

The Dead Rabbit team will be serving that now-renowned Irish Coffee, a new cocktail, ‘The Lone Oak’, made with whiskey, Chartreuse, curry leaf, lemon and bitters, and The Sun Tavern’s ‘Beer and a Bump’: a half pint chased, or preceded by, a shot of 12-year whiskey. A short-lived crossover episode, but a crossover episode nonetheless.
