EATER TALKS: HOW DELIVERY HAS CHANGED THE LONDON RESTAURANT INDUSTRY
7pm — WEDNESDAY 17 OCTOBER 2018
Eater London and Ace Hotel London will host the fourth Eater Talks panel discussion — at which we seek to explore the impact of delivery on the restaurant industry in the capital.
The panel includes a key member of the delivery business as well as an operator who has successfully entered that market — Toussaint Wattine, general manager of Uber Eats and Zan Kaufman, founder of Bleecker Burger. The talk will explore: Why it took so long for London to catch up with America on restaurant delivery; what’s inspired the growth of the market? What can it mean for a restaurant’s bottom line? How is it going to affect the way consumers enjoy restaurant food, long-term? And will delivery ultimately save restaurants or kill them?
Entry: Free with RSVP — The Rooftop, Ace Hotel, Shoreditch.
