Hallowe’en came a bit early last Friday, as M — the restaurant in Victoria — opened its doors for a fancy dress celebration. Model Lottie Moss was there, dressed in Britney Spears’ ‘Toxic’ air hostess look, while Love Island’s Eyal Booker was bare-chested, despite the cold, as Aladdin.

A little bit of Hollywood in Primrose Hill this week. Emma Stone, Oscar-winning star of La La Land and The Favourite, spent her lunch hour at The Queen’s, the gastropub on the corner of the park. She is in London for the filming of Cruella, the prequel to Disney’s 101 Dalmatians.

Jemima Jones and Lucy Carr-Ellison have long been the go-to caterers for fashion shoots and chic functions. But they’ve now opened their first restaurant. Named Wild by Tart, they launched it properly on Tuesday in Eccleston Yard. Guests at the bash included journalist Jemima Khan, Lord Frederick Windsor and his wife Sophie Windsor, who was best known for her role in Peep Show before she married into the royal family.

Mayfair fave Annabel’s went from florid to morbid for Hallowe’en, as owner and restaurant magnate Richard Caring took centre stage / throne (see photo.)

Let them eat cake! Or perhaps just bread. The Duchess of Sussex spoke to the Daily Telegraph this week, publicising a project that helps disadvantaged women. She conducted the interview at Luminary Bakery, in north London, which offers employment and training to disadvantaged women itself. Journalist Bryony Gordon says Meghan went “unnoticed.”

Berners Tavern was the site of the best Hallowe’en party of the year on Thursday. Jaime Winstone, Poppy Delevingne, Tyrone Wood, and Clara Paget were among the celebrities celebrating the scary season.

Leigh Anne Pinnock, one quarter of pop band Little Mix, has been spending her offstage time on launching a swimwear range called In ‘A’ Seashell. She showcased her latest work this week, hosting a celebratory breakfast at Elan Café in Knightsbridge on Wednesday.

Anyone grabbing a cuppa in Limehouse on Wednesday may have been surprised to come across The Duchess of Cornwall. The royal formerly known as Camilla Parker Bowles was out and about in East London on meet-and-greet duties, and sat down for some refreshments in the café of The Royal Foundation of St Katharine.

The day before Hallowe’en (so, All Hallows’ Eve Eve), Mayfair Mexican restaurant Ella Canta hosted a dinner to mark the Day Of The Dead, and its own second anniversary. Model Amber Le Bon and fashion designer Henry Holland were among the guests fed and watered — or tequila’d — in the Mexican style.
