Cross-channel jaunt of the week

With the World Restaurant Awards ceremony not taking place until the evening, the prospect of lunch in one of the globe’s great eating cities unsurprisingly lured a number of invitees over on the morning Eurostar to Paris. Some handled the early start better than others.

Prospective bangers of the week

The golden age of musical mash-ups is probably over, but as anyone who has heard a successful one can attest, the results of this sort of creative fusion can sometimes be breathtaking. Similarly good things seem to be on the cards here.
