Uneasy lies the head that wears the crown. And uneasy was indeed the word on Sunday as Helena Bonham Carter headed to restaurant and bar 100 Wardour Street to celebrate wrapping up the next series of The Crown. She and her fellow cast members were at the Soho venue until late, stumbling slightly into their waiting cabs. Princess Margaret would have been proud.
Super Bowl fever took over several of London’s restaurants on Sunday night, with Balthazar throwing an all-night spread of hot dogs, chicken wings and macaroni and cheese. American Ashley Roberts, the former Pussycat Doll, was there, as was cook and model Isaac Carew.
A Monday night date for Simon Cowell and Lauren Silverman. The X Factor and Britain’s Got Talent judge and his socialite partner dined at The Arts Club in Mayfair.
Afternoon tea can be a real drag sometimes. Miz Cracker, one of the standout favourites from the last series of RuPaul’s Drag Race, is in the U.K. for a tour, and stopped off at Sketch on Tuesday for a spot of tea. Did the ensemble match the decor? Or the other way around?

Natalie Dormer, best known for being among the ever-shrinking cast of Game Of Thrones, was out on the town on Tuesday night. She was seen at Brown’s on St Martin’s Lane with IT Crowd actress Katherine Parkinson. Dormer had been in the audience for Parkinson’s latest role in National Theatre transfer Home, I’m Darling.
Le Caprice, the restaurant once beloved by Princess Diana, is making a change, replacing the David Bailey photos on the walls with ones by John Swannell. Model Jodie Kidd and author Lord Archer celebrated the revamp with drinks and dinner.
Zoe Ball was seen at Soho House outpost 76 Dean Street on Wednesday evening. She was with Laurence and Jack Fox and Daisy Lewis following a film screening downstairs in aid of Lady Garden.
