Chef’s Table star continues Soho supper clubs with Bangladeshi cuisine
Asma Khan’s Darjeeling Express will host food writer and cookbook author Dina Begum for a supper club celebrating Boishaki. The new year festival for the Bengali calendar will bring jhal muri — a spiced, puff rice snack — followed by a trio of bhortas, and shorshe maach, a traditional festival dish of fish in a sauce made from mustard seeds. London’s restaurant delivery face-off moves into collection
Uber Eats will launch ‘Pick-Up,’ bringing click-and-collect into the battle for the London delivery market. Italian restaurateur doubles up with two openings
Andrea Reitano will bring Italian seafood and Neapolitan cuisine to the city in the space of a week. Santo Mare opens in Marylebone 4 April, with fish from Mediterranean — not Cornish! — day boats, while Osteria Napoletana brings its namesake cuisine to Notting Hill from April 11.
