Madonna is back, and this time she is enjoying a little role play, unveiling her new persona Madame X. Ahead of a packed week of launch activity, she found the time to relax at Chiltern Firehouse on Saturday evening.

Liam Gallagher was in Highgate on Saturday afternoon, enjoying lunch at The Red Lion & Sun, a gastropub on North Road. He gamely posed for photographs with excited punters. So blinding was the light of his fame that Martin Shaw, the Judge John Deed actor, went completely unnoticed in the corner.

A few days later, Liam headed central into Mayfair, where he and his girlfriend Debbie Gwyther enjoyed a family lunch at La Petite Maison, the French-Mediterranean restaurant from chef Raphael Duntoye.

Emily Atack, the Inbetweeners actress who became the nation’s latest sweetheart via I’m A Celebrity, Get Me Out of Here!, dined out with film producer Rob Jowers on Saturday evening. The pair chose Vivi, the new restaurant in Centre Point which offers British cuisine designed to “evoke a sense of nostalgia”; it’s yet to impress the critics.

Last week Jude Law set hearts racing by donning a pair of white Speedos to film the next series of The Young Pope. He has now found his clothes, and on Saturday was spotted with his fiancee Phillipa Coan at Ducksoup, on Soho’s Dean Street.

The Love Islanders are still being spotted in London. On Monday night, Adam Collard dined on the King’s Road, at Bluebird Chelsea. Collard split from Zara McDermott, who he met on the ITV2 hit, back in February.

In the Game Of Thrones, you win or you die. But when you’ve died, you may dine. As the show took over watercooler conversation this week, actress Natalie Dormer fled to Mayfair, where she was seen at 34 on Tuesday evening. Dormer played Margaery Tyrell in the programme, before being killed off in Season 6.
