One of London’s best burger restaurants will set up shop at Westfield Shepherds Bush as part of a new food court expansion. Bleecker Burger will be joined by Pizza Pilgrims, Soho Mexican outfit Corazon, a new iteration of Peckham’s Daddy Bao, and Catch Me, a restaurant reboot linked to Club Gascon chef Pascal Aussignac, according to Propel.
Bleecker, founded by former lawyer Zan Kaufman, will take its London presence to four sites with the opening, joining the City’s Bloomberg Arcade restaurant, the Victoria burger bar, and the unit at Old Spitalfields Market in Shoreditch. It’s a coup for Westfield, which already draws crowds for Shake Shack at its Stratford location, and is clearly trying to boost its food profile from the usual portfolio of chains found at UK shopping centres.
Pizza Pilgrims’ and Corazon’s restaurants will both be streamlined from their original restaurant operations: the latter will focus on tacos, while the former will simply operate a reduced menu of pizzas.
More soon.
