Jenna Coleman, the former Doctor Who assistant who plays Queen Victoria in the ITV period drama, was out for a spot of lunch last Friday. She was spotted at the Camden outpost of Mildred’s, the tasty vegetarian and vegan restaurant.
She was joined by Dianna Agron, the American actress best known for starring in Glee back in the day.
Mariah Carey, the US singer, has been in London in the last week, performing several shows at the Royal Albert Hall. But singing builds an appetite, and on Monday night she took her bows, jumped into a car and made a beeline for Novikov, the Russian restaurant in Mayfair.
She dined with her large entourage but made no diva demands.
Elizabeth Hurley was out on the town on Tuesday night, heading for dinner in Chelsea. The actress, model and swimwear designer was at the Ivy Chelsea Garden on the King’s Road, celebrating a friend’s birthday.
Over in Mayfair, Miley Cyrus dined at Gymkhana, the Indian restaurant beloved by the A List. The singer and actress, who started her career on the Disney Channel before embracing twerking and hip-hop, has been in the U.K. for festival season. Tennis player Maria Sharapova was also spotted during the week.
Bella Hadid, one of the world’s highest-paid models, was in London this week too. Like many celebrities lacking a restaurant recommendation, she made a booking at the Chiltern Firehouse in Marylebone. She was there on Wednesday.
Later that day, Sex and the City actress Sarah Jessica Parker was at Browns on St Martin’s Lane, joined by Alan Carr and former EastEnder Kara Tointon. She had been across the street seeing her husband, Matthew Broderick, in a new play. Parker seems to love London: the last time the couple ate out a few weeks ago, they chose Italian restaurant Bancone. She has also been vocal about her love for Timpsons, the locksmiths and cobblers, who must have helped her with a key emergency.
