One of London’s best bakeries has a new home in Pimlico. Little Bread Pedlar, whose Spa Terminus arch remains a Saturday morning pilgrimage for outstanding sourdough, pains au chocolat, and croissants, has opened a shop at 34 Moreton Street.
It’s a simple affair: breads, morning buns, and viennoiserie stacked on shelves and a counter, with a coffee machine putting out espresso-based drinks from Lower Marsh roaster and cafe Coleman and some decent London restaurant merch.
Having expanded its operations through coronavirus lockdown and beyond with a new local home delivery service — and longer opening hours at its Spa Terminus arch — the new permanent space will join its regular pitch at Canopy Market in King’s Cross and open seven days a week, from 8:00 a.m. on weekdays and Saturdays, and 9 a.m. on Sundays. It will close at 3 p.m. everyday.
