Where to Eat When Campaigning in Chingford and Woodford Green

English breakfasts, Turkish grills, Greek barbecue, one of the best Indian restaurants in east London — and more

View as Map

Historically a Tory stronghold, Chingford and Woodford Green suddenly looks up for grabs this time around, with current MP and architect of Universal Credit Iain Duncan-Smith having a majority of just 2,438 and facing a strong challenge from local Labour candidate, Faiza Shaheen. Nestled amongst Chingford’s expansive woodland, heaths and ponds, busy Station Road and its surroundings are home to some great examples of independent restaurateurs which have become fixtures in their community.
